Figurative language in the "Sorcerers Code"

Hi everyone!
Today will be short and simple>>
Figurative language!
Whenever you describe something by comparing it with something else, you are using figurative language. Also, another example  is when you use a word or phrase that does not have its normal everyday, literal meaning for style purposes.
So, an example in the book I'm reading right now is,
"The sorcerers pale eyes filled with sadness. He inhaled the aroma of baked bread and scented candles."
Basically it's what I call beauteous language.
That's it for today

More sign posts in the Sorcerers Code

Hi everyone!
The signpost I saw today in the sorcerers code volume one was advice of the elderly. This is when the father of the main character comes and says, "you're doing wrong things, dear child. Fix yourself!"
This is advice of a wise man, and it changes the path of the main character.
Nice and short for today,

Signpost in The Sorcerers Code

Hi everyone!
I wanted to bring back the signposts with the current book I'm reading, the Sorcerers Code. I really recommend this book, because for me it's so far so good.
If you just started reading the blog, here are the links to all of the signposts:
Tough Question
Contrasts and Contradictions
Advice
Memory Moment
Repetition
Aha Moment
The signpost I wanted to bring the example up of is tough question.
Currently in the story, I found that not only the main character are in somewhat of a dilemma. A beautiful sorceress created out of thin air is on the run- the government is trying to catch her but doesn't know whether or not she's worth killing, the creator of her doesn't know how to save her and, more importantly, himself.
This brings up the question- how does this show the signpost?
Simple.
The question that indicates tough question is "What do I do now?" and I find that even if it's not stated directly in the text, it's not hard to infer that if the characters were real, then that's what they would think.
That's all for today.

Summary of what I read in The Sorcery Code

Hi everyone!
I have hit 420 views (yay!)
Today I'm changing gears to a more magical book, The Sorcery Code, about a man who created a woman with magic, who's hyper-intelligent and can use magic as her second nature.
Currently, to summarize what I read, Gala (The woman) just started to discover her abilities and can only use them subconsciously in dire need, meaning she cannot lure spells at her own will. The government meanwhile,  is looking for Gala, for they found out that the most intelligent wizard of their town had created a magical instrument that could be dangerous or storm against the government. You find out the history of Blaise (The wizard), and about his ex- fiance who works in the government. In this chapter, Gala is described to have breathtaking beauty and is as well learning about human feelings. We find out her mind is like a computer- she can read 5,000-page books in minutes unless they are about feelings. It's harder for her to understand human emotions right now, but Blaise said "soon enough, she will not only be our savior but nothing yet a dream to people around the world."
I personally really enjoy reading books about magic, and I hope that we can enjoy them together :3

Main Character Descriptions in The Last Call Book 1

Hi everyone!
Right now I'm reading a mystery The Last Call by George Whire and had found only three characters so far- Julie, Bill, and Lawerence.
Bill Travis is a 40-year-old man who works as a lawyer. In the first three chapters, he gets tangled up into a mystery that could cost him his life or give him 2 million dollars.
Bill pays attention to details and is an extremely cautious driver
"Hadn't gotten a ticket for many years"
Not very rich
"We ate with plastic forks and paper plates"
and liked women
"I enjoyed looking at her beautiful face"

Nice and short for today,
