Need someone to understand

Hi everyone -.-
It's me again)))
Sometimes I treat this blog somewhat like a diary and say things I would never say out loud.
LOL
Anyway, I just feel like although the people around you may change you for the better, I think some of the people around me are changing me for the worst. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that I've been doing bad things, God forbid.
I think I'm just becoming a terrible person. My mother and I get into a lot of fights over such insignificant things....I think she's nervous about my sister but I never understood why she gets mad and doesn't admit it. Although I get it. I'm not a perfect child.
School is literally the place where drama is born. This happened to that that happened to this.
Sometimes I can't stand it. Sometimes it can be very interesting, haha.
At this point, the only one who lets me be myself is my cat. And he too sometimes walks away like the tiger in the end of life of pi (spoiler alert)
This may be overboard on personal feelings, but to be honest, I think so many people are feeling the same. I just want school to be over. I'm so excited for high school, actually. I really want to just start from a blank page. Like you know those dreams where you are a new kid in a new school and you start all over? That's the way I see high school. Just watch me say the same in the summer,
I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, so I'm going to end it here before I say something stupid (unless I already did)))
Good Night........

P.s. This picture literally is me/

Changed blog title.... WHY?

Hi everyone!
Short notice, so sorry:
The URL is now mvolski.blogspot.com
I made this my personal blog now.
I realized with all the ideas flowing, I need somewhere to write them down.
Prepare for a lot of maintenance on the blog look/
I will continue posting what I did before, now with some more personal things.
Thanks for understanding!

My thoughts on LOVE

Hi everyone!

Let's be honest, this is not a class assignment, but this thought came to my mind that I really wanted to share.

First off, I pretty proud of this so don't laugh. I kind of let my fingers soar the keyboard when I was answering my homework.

This is my answer to differences of love and hate.

Love arises from hate, and hate arises from love. Like darkness is the lack of light, I think love is the lack of hate. It’s a never ending circle, because the two are so intertwined. Love makes your heart sway and fly, as hate makes your heart sink, like the waves in an ocean. Waves are caused by wind, so I think this love and hate has to be caused by actions. It can't just be caused by looks. Although who knows. The feeling of love is so significant (and if we are talking good mothers)  just like a mother always feels something about or toward their child, I feel that if there is true love, something sways and your heart does tell you that it’s real or not. Romeo and Juliet shows that love can hurt but can also save. Their love arose from hate. So doesn’t that mean that hate can arise from love. They are so similar, they are almost too similar.

I felt like posting this because I didn't want to lose this. It kind of got me thinking, have we ever felt true love and hate?
For something to be so pure, it has to be simple. People are so complex, I honestly don't think that we ever felt something so true- it was always mixed with something. So in a way, none of us ever felt true love or hate. It's always a trail mix of chocolates and nuts)) in other words, it's always a combination of love and hate, sadness and happiness. This point is very biased around me, probably, but isn't there something to agree with in that?

And actually, I think that love is very vulnerable. I don't see love as a dove. Doves are strong and very annoying New York birds. If we were to compare love to nature, I would say ocean waves.
If love and hate are so intertwined, waves are just the pure examples.
Waves are salty, they are a mix. They are caused by wind and are transfers of energy in the water. Waves can be strong and weak. Tides can be high or low, or generally neutral. Waves  can have higher periods or higher crests. Ocean water has currents that go in a constant circle. Ocean waves are beautiful, but sometimes can be scary, and in cases, take lives. Waves are constant, are always there, and are blue. The sunset that comes from other things makes it bright, but it's not always bright. And deep, deep, in the waves you see little animals that don't want to come out.

I can write so many more things, but I'm not a writer. I can't seem to put my ideas together to make them sound as beautiful as I would want them to be. And, to be honest, all I ever have are ideas. I never write them down. I'm too scared to let myself down. And my ideas.

Thanks so much for reading and understanding.

Summary of ¨How they Croaked"

HI everyone!
A spooky book today. The book I read has the following subtitle: "The awful ends of the awfully famous"
That basically sums up the whole book.
Every chapter is a new famous person (the book is chronologically ordered) and it talks about in great detail how that person died, and things named after that person.
Today I read about Julius Caesar (who died on my birthday xD) and King Tut, (where they described the whole mummification process.) For example, it talked about how March was an unlucky month for caesar, and luckily enough, he died in march..
anyway.......The book is very strange but I found it interesting. I'll give it 3.5 stars/

Summary of Black Girl Dreaming

Hello fellow readers!
I finally finished the book, ¨Black Girl Dreaming" and it was amazing. I really recommend it.
It has all five of my stars.
Here is a summary of the whole book. (SPOILER ALERT)

The protagonist in this story is Jackie.
Jacqueline was born in Ohio, and is named after her father, Jack. She visits the south to see family, and doesn't understand why because it's segregated. Jack and Mary Ann have different views on what the south is doing, causing them to disagree and argue, eventually splitting the family apart. The family believes that acts for civil rights are right and that God will bless them for doing the right thing.

A lot of families treat them terribly, but there are also families that don't treat them so bad.
The family finally moves to New York, and there Jackie becomes best friends with a Puerto Rican girl named Maria and decides that she wants to become a writer.  The family still returns to South Carolina to visit their grandparents, However, each time to find Grandpa Gunnar, more sick. Things are starting to become a mess. Mary Anns brother gets sent to jail for acting on the Police and returns as a Muslim.  About the same time, Jackie and Maria start to love Angela Davis of the Black Panther movement. They imitate Angela, though they have no real idea about the revolution in which she is involved. Grandpa dies of cancer, and the family starts to live together again,

The beauty of the story is the way it's written. And how every word shows that the author simply wanted piece and everything to fall into it's place.

That's it for today.

Summary of the light bearer

Hello, readers...
I'm now reading a novel called "The light bearers daughter", written by an Irish writer with incorporated Irish mythology.
The Light Bearer is an engaging novel about Auriane, a Germanic warrior and priestess during ancient Roman times. The Germanic tribes are trying to fight off the legions of the Roman empire, and Auriane is captured and forced into the gladiator arena, where she poses a threat to the emperor's power. Auriane also falls in love with the Roman politician Marcus Julianus, her enemy, and greatest ally.
This book is written in a very interesting format. One chapter would talk about the ancient priestess in terms of magic and wonder in third person limited, and the next consecutive chapter would be in third person omniscient, taking place in a low-class family made up of a single father and his strong daughter who doesn't want to leave to Canada where her father wants to move to work, and also where her father grew up.
That's it for today

Summary of what I read in Fable Haven

Hi Guys!
I started to read fable haven,
Here is a summary of what I read:

Kendra and Seth's parents are making them stay with their reclusive grandparents while they go on a cruise. Grandma is absent, and  they learn that there are a lot of rules. They aren't allowed to go in the forest, and must stay in the house or barn.
Seth, like a typical boy, decides to go into the forest when he gets a chance and meets an old woman who seems like a witch. Kendra ends up unlocking a journal that has the hidden message" Drink the milk" with three little keys her grandfather gave her. When the kids drink the milk that's placed around the gardens, they can suddenly see that all the insects (like dragonflies) are actually fairies.

Grandpa has a serious conversation with the kids about how the land is a preserve for magic creatures called Fablehaven. Now that they know what is going on, they get to meet a fairy trapper, Maddox, and a golem (a magical construct that obeys orders), Hugo—and it turns out that the housekeeper, Lena, is a former naiad. Seth is then  transformed into a creature because the fairies have a conflict with him and Grandpa must ask a favor of the witch, Muriel, to undo the curse. This leaves Muriel bound by only one knot, which is bad news.
 I stopped on a cliffhanger.

Summary

Hi everyone!
I'm still reading The Art of Photography  and today it talks about the difference between simplicity and complexity. Art mirrors society, and society is very complex, so many would say that the photos should be complex. They, in fact, could be if it is your approach and point of view. The author says that he personally doesn't take complex pictures. Anything complex should possess an inherent simplicity that should be shown in the photograph. When you keep things simple, or pull out what's simple, the effect comes through.
That's a summary of what I read today.

Summary of what I read

Today I started a new book called The Art of Photography because, for genius hour, I wanted to learn how to take good pictures the correct way.
The first chapter, "an approach to personal expression", talks about how photography is a form of non-verbal communication. It mentions artists, singers, dancers, and says that photography was granted it's spot on the list as a language most can understand. The word photograph has a much deeper meaning than it's usage. "The photograph says it all; nothing else is needed."
A photograph should raise questions, tell a story, or remain mysterious. Also, the beauty is its realism which makes it apart from all other art forms. The first step is to find out what interests you have and what methods you will use to express yourself.
The section ends here and leaves a good impression on me to want to keep reading.  I assume the book will start to explain what methods are used to generally create good photography.

Figurative language in the "Sorcerers Code"

Hi everyone!
Today will be short and simple>>
Figurative language!
Whenever you describe something by comparing it with something else, you are using figurative language. Also, another example  is when you use a word or phrase that does not have its normal everyday, literal meaning for style purposes.
So, an example in the book I'm reading right now is,
"The sorcerers pale eyes filled with sadness. He inhaled the aroma of baked bread and scented candles."
Basically it's what I call beauteous language.
That's it for today

More sign posts in the Sorcerers Code

Hi everyone!
The signpost I saw today in the sorcerers code volume one was advice of the elderly. This is when the father of the main character comes and says, "you're doing wrong things, dear child. Fix yourself!"
This is advice of a wise man, and it changes the path of the main character.
Nice and short for today,

Signpost in The Sorcerers Code

Hi everyone!
I wanted to bring back the signposts with the current book I'm reading, the Sorcerers Code. I really recommend this book, because for me it's so far so good.
If you just started reading the blog, here are the links to all of the signposts:
Tough Question
Contrasts and Contradictions
Advice
Memory Moment
Repetition
Aha Moment
The signpost I wanted to bring the example up of is tough question.
Currently in the story, I found that not only the main character are in somewhat of a dilemma. A beautiful sorceress created out of thin air is on the run- the government is trying to catch her but doesn't know whether or not she's worth killing, the creator of her doesn't know how to save her and, more importantly, himself.
This brings up the question- how does this show the signpost?
Simple.
The question that indicates tough question is "What do I do now?" and I find that even if it's not stated directly in the text, it's not hard to infer that if the characters were real, then that's what they would think.
That's all for today.

Summary of what I read in The Sorcery Code

Hi everyone!
I have hit 420 views (yay!)
Today I'm changing gears to a more magical book, The Sorcery Code, about a man who created a woman with magic, who's hyper-intelligent and can use magic as her second nature.
Currently, to summarize what I read, Gala (The woman) just started to discover her abilities and can only use them subconsciously in dire need, meaning she cannot lure spells at her own will. The government meanwhile,  is looking for Gala, for they found out that the most intelligent wizard of their town had created a magical instrument that could be dangerous or storm against the government. You find out the history of Blaise (The wizard), and about his ex- fiance who works in the government. In this chapter, Gala is described to have breathtaking beauty and is as well learning about human feelings. We find out her mind is like a computer- she can read 5,000-page books in minutes unless they are about feelings. It's harder for her to understand human emotions right now, but Blaise said "soon enough, she will not only be our savior but nothing yet a dream to people around the world."
I personally really enjoy reading books about magic, and I hope that we can enjoy them together :3

Main Character Descriptions in The Last Call Book 1

Hi everyone!
Right now I'm reading a mystery The Last Call by George Whire and had found only three characters so far- Julie, Bill, and Lawerence.
Bill Travis is a 40-year-old man who works as a lawyer. In the first three chapters, he gets tangled up into a mystery that could cost him his life or give him 2 million dollars.
Bill pays attention to details and is an extremely cautious driver
"Hadn't gotten a ticket for many years"
Not very rich
"We ate with plastic forks and paper plates"
and liked women
"I enjoyed looking at her beautiful face"

Nice and short for today,
